A 60-year-old woman was raped by her 27-year-old son, Akintunde Omotehinde, in Ekiti State.
The son was arrested and arraigned in court for the offense that took place on the 23rd of August, 2013. Prosecutor Ebenezer Ewuola said that the accused ‘forcefully and unlawfully’ had carnal knowledge of his mother, which led to her being hospitalised.
He added that on the same date, the accused assaulted and inflicted injuries on one, Isiaka Ojo, who attempted to separate him from his mother during the act.
